Chalnessa Eames - MyFituals

The Fitual

During her time as a former soloist with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet companies, Chalnessa Eames developed her own style of conditioning exercise to keep up with the physical demands of her career. Using a unique fitness ritual (Fitual) that focused on mind and body practice, she was able to remain virtually injury-free for the entirety of her career, a feat that is unheard of among dancers performing at the highest professional levels. She opened her first The Fitual studio in Winnipeg, MB, in 2019 to share what she's created with the community at large.

Fitual:

A high energy class designed to sculpt and strengthen your body. This approach blends fluid transitions from dance cardio to core work and resistance training intervals – guaranteed to get your heart rate pumping.
Optional equipment: ankle weights, yoga mat, 3lb and/or 5lb dumbbells, or soup cans, wine bottles or anything else you have around the house.

Ritual:

A lower impact option that still packs a punch, the Ritual offers a strong focus on building core strength. Toning and sculpting of the hips, thighs, glutes and arms is achieved through a balanced blend of ballet basics, yoga and bodyweight exercises utilizing light weights and resistance bands.
Optional equipment: ankle weights, yoga mat, 3lb and/or 5lb dumbbells, or soup cans, wine bottles or anything else you have around the house.

30/30:

The class combines 30-minutes of our signature heart-pumping Fitual workout with 30-minutes of the total body sculpting MEGAFitual (lagree) workout.
Required equipment: slider or paper plate, towel, socks or anything you have around the house that allows you to slide your feet.
Optional equipment: ankle weights, yoga mat, 3lb and/or 5lb dumbbells, or soup cans, wine bottles or anything else you have around the house.

Rumble

Rumble is a boxing inspired group fitness class that combines the science of boxing with the power of strength training. Classes are engineered for all experience levels, fusing a high-energy 10-round fight with HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), metabolic conditioning (MetCon), cardio and of course, great music.

With studios in NY, LA, SF, PA and DC, and workouts led by some of the most inspired and inspiring fitness instructors, this fight club meets night club is the perfect addition to your weekly workout rotation.

P.volve

The P.volve method, unlike other programs that rely on reps, is based on mastering precise movements that activate hard-to-reach muscles. Workouts are based on everyday movements, then carefully developed over time, incorporating neuromuscular science and functional science expertise.

Experience a low-impact anti-pulse workout designed for any fitness level and body shape to help you build strength and definition. The P.volve method helps you get more out of everyday life, giving you a noticeable boost to your overall health, wellbeing and confidence.

Equipment: ankle bands, hand weights

Dancebody

This dancer-turn-instructor led workout combines dance with cardio and toning, moving your body in new ways and working muscles you didn't know you had! Classes include both high and low impact dance cardio and are designed for all fitness and dance levels, no prior dance experience necessary.
