Graphic Designer and Product Designer

Position Summary

Mondetta is seeking a creative and versatile Graphic Designer & Product Designer to support the development of apparel collections, licensed products, collaboration programs, and brand storytelling initiatives across multiple business units.

This role combines apparel design, graphic design, product development support, and creative execution. The successful candidate will work closely with Design, Graphics, Merchandising, Marketing, and Production teams to create commercially successful products and visual assets that align with brand standards and customer expectations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product creation and visual storytelling and is capable of moving seamlessly between apparel design and graphic design projects.

Key Responsibilities

Apparel Design & Product Development
  • Support the development of apparel collections from concept through production.
  • Create product concepts, technical sketches, colourways, and presentation materials.
  • Research trends, consumer insights, graphics, fabrics, trims, and competitive products.
  • Assist in the development of licensed and collaboration programs.
  • Support product reviews, line planning discussions, and cross-functional meetings.
  • Prepare artwork packages and support production-ready deliverables.
Graphic Design
  • Create apparel graphics, embellishment artwork, prints, and branding elements.
  • Develop visual assets for product presentations and customer meetings.
  • Produce marketing and promotional graphics supporting product launches.
  • Adapt artwork across multiple brands and customer requirements.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and licensing requirements.
Collaboration & Project Support
  • Work closely with Design, Graphics, Merchandising, Production, and Sales teams.
  • Maintain communication and coordinate files and approvals directly with factories.
  • Support customer-specific programs and special projects.
  • Assist in managing design revisions and artwork approvals.
  • Coordinate multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute ideas that improve workflow, efficiency, and creative execution.
AI & Digital Design Tools
  • Utilize AI-assisted design tools to support concept development, image creation, inspiration gathering, and workflow efficiency.
  • Stay current on emerging design technologies and industry trends.
  • Apply AI tools responsibly while maintaining brand standards and creative integrity.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Apparel Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in apparel design, graphic design, or a related creative role.
  • Experience in the apparel, fashion, sportswear, lifestyle, or consumer goods industry is preferred.
  • Experience working with licensed products is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of apparel graphics, print development, and product design.
  • Experience creating technical sketches and production artwork.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and product development workflows is considered an asset.
  • Experience using AI-enhanced creative tools is an asset.

Accounting Clerk

Mondetta is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and supporting accurate financial operations. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring vendor transactions, retail accounting activities, and month-end processes are completed accurately and efficiently while supporting the day-to-day success of our Finance team.

What You Will Do

As our Accounting Clerk, you will support the accurate processing of financial transactions and help ensure the smooth operation of accounts payable, retail accounting, and month-end activities across the organization.

  • Process vendor invoices and accurately enter accounting transactions within the accounting system.
  • Review and reconcile invoices against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Perform daily accounting transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and maintaining financial records.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and account inquiries.
  • Support the accounting requirements of Mondetta's retail operations, including processing and reconciling transactions from retail locations.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions between retail stores and head office while ensuring accurate allocation of expenses and transactions.
  • Assist with month-end accounting activities, including posting journal entries and preparing supporting documentation.
  • Prepare cost actualizations and supporting schedules required for month-end reporting. Provide cross- functional support to Accounts Receivable activities when required and contribute to overall Finance team success.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, accounting administration, or a related finance role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and spreadsheet management.
  • Ability to enter and process data accurately and efficiently within accounting systems.
